Validated Practices

The S³TAIR Project has received nominations from every part of New York State, which have resulted in validation of forty-seven practices in forty-four school districts. Each district or school's practice is documented on this site.

Practice documentation may be accessed by practice area, school level, or region

Schools and districts whose practices are validated may apply for grants to mentor other districts/schools' practice implementation efforts. Documentation of these partnerships are also highlighted on this site [link to mentor schools]. Districts/schools whose practices are validated become Effective Practice Schools. Districts/schools whose practices are validated may apply for an Effective Practice Mentor School Grant to support their work as a mentor to a low performing school or district that wishes to replicate the effective practice.
